My "nothing can go wrong" jacket

לא עמדתי בפיתוי. את הג'קט הזה קניתי לעצמי כמתנת יום הולדת מוקדמת, והוא ללא ספק אחת הרכישות המוצלחות אי פעם. חוץ שהוא יפהפה בעיני, הוא מזכיר לי בכל פעם שאני לובשת אותו את הסיבה שבגללה אני כל כך אוהבת באופנה. זה הרי ידוע שהאדם עושה את הבגד ויש גם שיאמרו שהבגד עושה את האדם, בכל מקרה אין כל ויכוח על כך שלבגדים יש יכולת מופלאה להשפיע על מראהו של אדם. הבגדים גורמים לנו להיראות רציניים, קלילים, מצחיקים או כוחניים, שמנים או רזים,מכובדים או עלובים, ידם של הבגדים בכל. בעיני היכולת המופלאה של הבגדים אינה טמונה בהשפעה שיש להם על אנשים אחרים אלא בהשפעתם דווקא על הלובש. וכאן אני חוזרת אל הג'קט שלי - בכל פעם שאני לובשת אותו אני מרגישה פשוט נהדר. זה בכלל לא משנה מה אני לובשת מתחתיו (אך אין ספק שתחרה ופרחים רק מוסיפים לכל העסק), הוא עושה את כל התלבושת, וגורף מחמאות בשפע.

I bought this jacket as an early birthday present to myself, and it's definitely one of my best purchases ever. Besides being pretty, this jacket also reminds me each time I wear it the reason for my irresistible love for fashion. fashion has the ability to change not only the way we look, but also the way we feel. Every time I wear my jacket I feel just great, no matter what I wear underneath, it just makes every outfit wonderful and helps me get lots of compliments.

Shoes for fall, my fall

נעליים הן מרכיב מכריע בלבוש. הן משפיעות על היציבה ונותנות את הטון עבור האאוטפיט כולו (למה אין לאאוטפיט מקבילה בעברית??!) ומכאן חשיבותן הגבוהה. האמת שאני לעתים קרובות מסתבכת עם הנעליים, משום מה כשזה מגיע לקרסוליים ומטה אני חוטאת לעתים קרובות בקניות שמאוחר יותר מתבררות כטעות. לא נוחות, לא מחמיאות, לא מתאימות לכלום, גבוהות מדי, נמוכות מדי, אלו רק חלק מהטעויות שאני עושה לעתים. לאחרונה אני מרגישה מעין רוויה (אשר וודאי תחלוף מהר) באגף הלבוש ומהצד השני יש לי קרייבינג רציני לנעליים. ארבעת הזוגות האלה הם בעיני 4 זוגות מופתיים המייצגים היטב את רוח הזמן של העונה הקרובה. קלאסי, טרנדי, ערב, יום, גבוה ונמוך, בארבעת הזוגות הללו יש הכל... הבעיה היחידה היא המחיר...

Shoes are a critical component of the dress. They affect the posture and give the tone for the entire outfit thus highly important. I don't know why, but when it comes to shoes I am definitely not the best shopper. I often make mistakes in my choices- not comfortable, unflattering, too high, too low, that's just a partial list of my mistakes. Lately I feel a certain saturation in the clothing zone, but on the other side I have a huge craving for shoes.

Lanvin Lanvin

I LOVE Lanvin. I love the shapes, I love the colors, I love the way the fabric flows, I love the sophistication, I love the simplicity and I love Alber Elbaz.

I think I mostly like him because of his modesty which I think also reflects in his designs. The other reason is because he's Israeli!

Alber Elbaz was born in Casablanca, Morocco. He immigrated to Israel with his family at the age of ten and grew up in Holon. After serving in the Israeli Defense Forces, he studied at the Shenkar College of Engineering and Design in Ramat Gan. That's where I might start studying next year (I got excepted and I need to choose if I want to study fashion design there or art in The Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design). Over the years Alber Elbaz worked for Guy Laroche, Yves Saint-Laurent and Krizia. In October 2001, he was appointed artistic director of Lanvin in Paris. Lanvin is the oldest extant fashion house worldwide, having been founded by Jeanne Lanvin.

It makes me happy and proud to see an Israeli who did so well abroad and of course gives me a dose of ambition. I made the sketch above as a gesture for Lanvin and Alber Elbaz.
