SJP in Balmain.

I am so, so, so jealous. I want that dress. I'm positive it is a piece from the RTW Balmain Spring Collection 2009 as I cannot forget printing fifty million copies of that dress and showing it to anyone who would look. It is definitely on my buy list still. You can imagine what a surprise it was to see Carrie Bradshaw's 'alter ego' Sarah Jessica Parker wearing it to the NYC Ballet opening. Question is, when I do see it; it doesnt make me actually want it anymore than I did originally. Has the style sort of been killed a little when you see a celeb wearing the piece you so desperately wanted? I prefer it runway, naturally of course.

Oh well, with the rumours going crazy surrounding SJP and her Husband and Hugh Grant, all the girl can really do is hold her head high and add a sexy Balmain dress to the mixture. Not to mention, it really does just add that cherry on top of a dangerously alluring mix. Go get 'em SJP!

All I want for Christmas is....

Everyone I know has already started their christmas lists. I absolutely LOVE Christmas as it is pretty much that joyful time of year where you can afford to go out and reward yourself for everything which has happened during the year. Other than buying presents just for others, I love to spoil myself with usually one item which I have been lusting after the entire year and never really got around to getting. Here is my Christmas wishlist, and if you haven't started writing yours...you'd better get writing! Santa's on his way soon.

- Pandora Bracelet (http://www.pandora-jewelry.com/): I seriously don't know exactly why I haven't gone out and bought myself one of these bracelets and charms yet! It's a sweet present and I'd love to get it from a super lovely guy (preferably my boyfriend and not my dad) because it really is more than just a bracelet as it is rather sentimental with each bead representing all sorts of different moments in your life.
- Matthew Williamson Paisely Maxi Dress (http://www.net-a-porter.com/): I don't know about you but in Australia, we tend to prepare ourselves for a hot summery Christmas and New Years. It's definitely not winter so everyone tries to look hot and stay cool with their fake tans glistening in the gorgeous sun as we indulge in some summer fruit cocktails and dainty finger foods. This dress is slinky, bright and perfect for summer because it is so in-your-face as it is subtle. Loves it.
- Betsey Johnson Quilted Satin Skirt (http://www.betseyjohnson.com/): It's cute and sophistication yet very chic and perfect for any holiday festivities at night. It's a piece which can be worn over and over again and each time, it just keeps looking better and better with a slight change in shirt and accesories and heels and that's done!
- Victoria's Secret Silk Slip Dress (http://www.victoriassecret.com/): I have always wanted a new slip dress just because the nights get so warm and instead of the typical singlet and undies combination, it would definitely be nice to be able to wear something slinky and sexy to fall asleep in. Speaking of which, I might also get the matching satin robe and knickers. Ahh...
And OF COURSE, there's more but really. I'm going to try to appear not greedy for at least five minutes. You can be sure I'll do another update (part Two) very soon. Get writing your xmas lists and leave me a comment!

Viktor and Rolf Party tonight.

I promise I'll remember to bring my camera, take photos and upload them for all to see as I believe the Viktor and Rolf party tonight will be way fun. I'm really looking forward to it. What am I wearing? Here, I'll list it (I have a thing for lists at the moment)...

- Black Moschino Cheap and Chic Lace blouse top

- The most amazing leggings known as Skinny Rats leggings by Sass and Bide.

- The gladiator platform heels I showed you all in a previous blog- by Aussie shoe brand: Siren.

- Vintage black Chanel 2.55 quilted bag.

I also have to upload the social paper pics from the Calvin Klein/Asus laptop launch Party! Ahh...hard life.

Pulling off the Pyjama trend: Kate Beckinsale.

The pyjama look was a dangerous yet effectively stand out look at Dolce and Gabbana's S/S 09 show with models wearing satin pjs worthy of Hugh Hefner. I was always quite cautious with this trend as the 'underwear as outerwear' look is hard enough to pull off without looking like Jenna Rink from Suddenly Thirty (aka: 13 going on 30), so the pyjama trend is difficult in the sense that you want the sophistication to ooze from this look without it being tacky and just sheer weird.
Kate Beckinsale pulled the look off with a gold edged, black satin ensemble which looked beyond chic and effortless accompanied with simple yet statement heels and a tough cinched belt. Now with that said; Hugh Hefner, take Beckinsale's lead as this is how it's meant to be done...even though you are a boy. A satin robes and pyjama boy nonetheless.

Green with Envy.

For one minute, just forget about environmentally friendly products! If anything, I think the whole "Think Green" campaigns going on, is what's killing green as a fashion worthy colour as opposed to the environmental 'feel' of things at the moment.
I spotted the Oscar de la Renta mini skirt, Thread Social dress, Lanvin heels, Chloe bag, Missoni Bracelet....ETC! - all of which are perfect for (non) green Fashion moments which will make anyone green with envy. Forget environment and bring back statement fashion colour. Green will bring that attention you deserve.

Any bride-to-be's out there?

It's gorgeously light and reminds me of a mixture between Grecian drapery and a freshly baked Meringue. The result? A perfect dress for any Spring/Summer brides. Just picture a gorgeous green garden wedding and this glamorous gown/maxi dress which will make sure you are belle of the ball. True Bliss Ladies!xx Lisa

On my to-buy list: Miu Miu Bag.

I'm seriously saving as we speak. This bag is too good to be missed. Slouchy, relaxed and effortless. It will be the cherry on top of any good outfit this season. xx Lisa

Want right now: Temperley London dress.

Temperley London has to be one of my most favourite designers for dresses which are unique but still quite subtle and feminine. I'm in love with this Temperley London Rah Satin Dress because it is so effortlessly elegant and classic yet still it connotes a sense of youthfulness making it a perfect dress to wear at a fancy dinner or even a crazy night out with the girls. Just add a pair of super high Jimmy Choos and the look is complete. With that said, it's time to PARTY!xx Lisa

Spoil Yourself: Lanvin

Indulge in these artistically elegant jewellery neck pieces by Lanvin. I know that I will be one of the first to spoil myself with these transeasonal pieces to give any outfit that extra edge of elegance.xx Lisa

Take me on vacation.

I absolutely LOVE this limited edition Louis Vuitton Galliera Riviera bag! It just reminds me of lazy holidays in tropical destinations. Think French Riviera, Mexico, Brazil, Greece and Spain...This piece will definitely add something extra to any tropical vacation and at $1940.00, you'll be sure to love it just as much as you would love any exotic adventure.xx Lisa

Budget of the day: ASOS Dress.

It's not Burberry Prorsum, it's not even Marchesa. It is actually a dress featured on online store ASOS, and it's cute, out there and very, very affordable at only $67.50. Its on the top of my to-buy list for the Festive season because I know it'll look hot as a transeasonal piece whether it is snowing or a summer Christmas, this dress can be oomphed up with the help of accesories and heels to take the look from day to night instantly.
